On display at the Museum is a comprehensive collection of wooden models of native crafts used in coastal and long-distance trade from Mumbai (Bombay) in the 19th and early 20th centuries. These models were hand-crafted and donated to the Museum by the Bombay Port Trust. ‘Hodi’ is a common fishing boat, built near all coastal ports and can be pulled or sailed.
